Vision
The Centre for Existential Practice offers Professional Development courses and workshops on existential theory and practice. These short courses are designed for professionals working in the fields of psychotherapy, counselling, coaching, mediation and leadership.
All our workshops and courses integrate the teachings of the existential- phenomenological philosophers (including Husserl, Heiddeger, Sartre, Kierkegaard, and Levinas) with the experience of practitioners who have translated the philosophy into the practice of therapy and counselling (including Yalom, Rogers, May, van Deurzen, Cohn, Strasser and Spinelli).
All participants are encouraged to discover their personal approach to their practice through knowledge, self-reflection and experiential learning.
To enhance this culture, CEP is committed to:
- Small classes in order to maximise learning
- Adult learning to allow for individual autonomy and growth
- Consultants that are totally passionate about their field
Certificates for Professional Development hours will be available on completion of all workshops and courses.
